Colours

This set holds the Tamil word for colour and the names of the colours you will use most: white, black, red, green, yellow and blue first, then brown, grey, pink and purple. Colours help you describe clothes, food, flowers and the things around a house. Look closely at pink, இளஞ்சிவப்பு: you can see the word for red, சிவப்பு, inside it. A tip for remembering the set: each day, pick one colour and name everything you see in that colour, first the colour and then the thing.
