Numbers
This set holds the Tamil numbers you need first: one to ten, eleven and twelve, the tens from twenty to ninety, a hundred and a thousand, and also zero and half. Learn one to ten well before you go on, because you will use them every day, for prices, ages, times and phone numbers. A tip for the tens: look at how they end. Most of them end in பது, like இருபது and முப்பது, so once you know the ending you only need to learn the start. Then practise by counting things around you out loud, such as stairs, cups or people at the table.
